Toni Gartshore, Interior Designer
Toni gained a First-Class Honors Degree in Interior Design in 2020 after studying at both Fife College and Heriot Watt University. Since graduating Toni had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects including retail, hospitality, office and education design.
Interiors were always an interest of Toni’s, on a small scale, before studying it was fabrics and finishes that took her interest. Once beginning her studies, She quickly took more interest in the functions of a space and how best this can be achieved and meet the needs of the users.
“Bringing together space planning, finishes, colour, textures, lighting and furniture brings endless opportunities to influence the use of a space, the activity that it encourages and the impact it can have on users.
When designing, I always go back to the user experience, as in the end this is what makes a successful design.”
