Madeline Hulton
Architectural Assistant
Madeline has recently joined the RKA team for her Part 1 placement after graduating from the University of Dundee with a BArch (Hons) with Merit.
During her studies, she developed a strong interest in place-based architecture and how it can contribute to more sustainable design. In her third-year thesis, she explored the influence of Scottish vernacular architecture on contemporary practice, highlighting how traditional forms and materials are shaping modern approaches to design.
Madeline is looking forward to gaining hands-on experience by contributing to a variety of projects. She is particularly interested in expanding her understanding of a range of technologies to help create architecture that is both environmentally conscious and deeply rooted in place.
