Erin Wilkinson
Architect
Erin joined the practice in 2022, shortly after completing her studies at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen where she gained a Masters in Architecture. She also gained experience across Highland Perthshire in 2019 and between semesters 2020-21, working mostly on rural residential work for private clients. This, combined with her experience gained at RKA in more recent years, allowed her to gain her Part 3, and title ‘Architect’ in March 2025.
Erin’s project time at RKA has included a mix of residential, commercial and third sector projects, which have all brought their own joys and challenges. She enjoys working on unique or historic buildings, finding ways to bring new purpose and life to existing spaces to best suit the client’s needs.
Alongside her project work, she is particularly passionate about encouraging more sustainable building practices across all projects, and founded the RKA sustainability team to assist with this, as well as help educate colleagues and clients on how their specific project can be more ‘green’.
