Chu-Lin Pamela Feng - RKA

Chu-Lin Pamela Feng
Architectural Designer

Chu qualified as an Architect in the Spring of 2025, having completed her RIBA Part III with RKA and registered with the Architect Registration Board. She holds a MArch degree from the University of Edinburgh where she was awarded joint Best Overall MArch student in 2021. Chu’s professional experience spans both architectural and interior design practices, at a London-based design studio in 2018 and a small practice in Edinburgh’s Old Town, where she worked as a Part II Architectural Assistant until the end of 2023. Her work includes a mix of domestic and medium-scale commercial projects, feasibility studies for community trust clients, and the design and delivery of retrofit domestic homes in the UK.

Chu’s interests lie at the intersection of design, sustainability, and local identity. The experiences she has gathered so far strengthened her enthusiasm and practical skills to build upon her speculative sustainable MArch thesis, which focused on a self-sustaining firewood programme for a local crematorium in Ahmedabad, India.

Valuing local culture and crafting skills, Chu always finds herself drawn to design something that is unique to the place, and to experiment with new building materials.
