Project Description
Set within the natural beauty of Craigtoun Park, our proposal envisions a new multi-use community space designed to support education and a wide range of local initiatives. The concept centres around flexibility – creating a welcoming and adaptable environment that serves the diverse needs of community groups, schools, volunteers, and events.
At the heart of the proposal is a purpose-built interior hall, designed to accommodate everything from workshops and exhibitions to performances and meetings. Thoughtfully integrated into the park’s landscape, the building will act as a hub for learning, creativity, and social connection – reinforcing Craigtoun’s role for recreation and community enrichment.
The architecture and layout prioritise openness with spaces that can evolve alongside the needs of the community. Whether hosting local activities or providing a base for education and volunteer-led initiatives, the new facility will offer a meaningful resource for generations to come.
