Project Description<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n

Cellardyke Shore Street, Fife – An RKA Interiors Project<\/h1>\n<\/div>

This project involves the sensitive refurbishment and extension of a Category C listed home within a Conservation Area, tailored for a growing family of musicians. Key aims include celebrating the historic rear stone wall – especially its curved stairwell – by introducing a glazed slot that highlights its full height, while enhancing connectivity to the garden.<\/p>\n

A new rear ground floor extension will house a kitchen, replacing a previous dining area now repurposed as a music space. The extension improves preserves views of the original fa\u00e7ade. Additional works include reconfiguring the ground floor for better spatial flow, updating the WC to include a new entrance cloakroom, and minor alterations to the family bathroom to accommodate modern fittings.<\/p>\n

A new air source heat pump will provide sustainable heating. All works are carefully designed to protect the character and significance of the listed building.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
