Dan has previously worked for practices in Eindhoven, Edinburgh and most recently London. His previous experience includes working for a large architectural practice, working on projects with challenging briefs for a wide range of clients including local authorities; private developers; universities; and housing associations. He recently relocated to Glasgow where he joined RKA at the beginning of 2023. He obtained a first class honours degree in Architectural Technology in Aberdeen and went on to study Architecture at the Mackintosh school of Architecture in Glasgow. Chris moved back to Scotland in 2021 joining RKA as an Associate following 8 years working with Richard at Orms in London. After graduating from the Mackintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow Chris worked in London for over 10 years during which time he completed his part 3 architectural education at Westminster University. Following a number of years with Canaway Fleming Architects Chris joined Orms where he worked on a wide variety of commercial refurbishment, re-use and new build projects, notably leading the multi-million pound mixed use office development of 101 Moorgate for Aviva Investors. Richard founded RKA in 2019 after 25 enjoyable year in London. This included 16 years with Orms and the last 5 as Director. Richard’s family move to Scotland gave him the opportunity to set up his own practice, focus on design and delivery and bring together all the inspirational learning that he benefited from in the 3 practices he worked for in London. Richard completed over 20 built projects with Orms, responsible for 8-12 projects at any one time with values from £500k to £120m.
